Markley Cove Resort is both a convenient and a historical location for boaters and recreational enthusiasts.  Since its inception in 1959, thousands of visitors have come to this small friendly marina located on the southern shores of beautiful Lake Berryessa. Lake Berryessa, known to locals as California’s “best kept secret” offers YEAR-ROUND recreational opportunities.  Twenty three miles long, the lake has approximately 165 miles of oak-covered shoreline.  The smog free climate is wonderful and the lake is convenient to both the Sacramento valley and the Bay area.  Markley Cove itself is centrally located between the quaint little town of Winters, CA and the spectacular Napa valley.  So join us for a day or a week – our friendly staff will welcome you and do all that they can to make your visit memorable!

All types of boating is allowed at Lake Berryessa.  The water is clear and clean and the average water temperature of 76 degrees. The launch ramp is very accessible and parking is located adjacent to the ramp.

Markley Cove’s slips offer a variety of sizing and pricing to fit nearly every client’s needs.  Slips range from sizes that house small fishing boats up to large private houseboats.

We spent the daytime boating and the evenings relaxing, playing board games, star watching, and just enjoying being away from cell phones and crazy city life. The cabins offer the perfect balance between not having to completely rough it with tents and not paying crazy expensive resort type prices. Very friendly staff, helped us get checked in right away, clean cabins. And of course the lake was beautiful. Overall a great experience.”

  • Really an amazing place if you want some privacy. Amazing, but scary. It's too dark there and would be better if we plan the trip for uneventful situations. Best for couples as the place is small, but elegant!
